How to Choose a Dental Clinic in Turkey: 9 Questions That Matter

Most clinic websites look the same: bright photos, a smiling patient, an all-inclusive package. None of that predicts your result. What predicts your result is who treats you, what they use, and what happens when something does not go to plan. Ask these nine questions and the differences appear quickly.

Send these on WhatsApp before you book anything. You are looking for specific answers — a clinic that replies with a brochure has answered you anyway.

Understand what the price does and does not include
The single most common surprise is not the headline price — it is the additions. Bone grafting, sinus lifting, extractions, temporary crowns and follow-up visits are frequently quoted separately.
None of that is dishonest by itself. Treatment plans genuinely change once a dentist sees your bone. What matters is whether the clinic tells you the possible additions upfront or only after you have landed. Ask directly: what could change once you examine me, and what would that cost?
How to read reviews without being misled
Reviews are useful, but only some of them. A page of five-star ratings posted within the same week means very little. What is worth reading is the detailed, specific, medium-scored review — the one describing what the recovery was actually like.
Look especially for reviews written months or years after treatment. Dental work looks good on the day it is fitted. The question is how it looked two years later.

Ask about aftercare before you need it
You will be home when any problem appears. Find out now how the clinic handles that: who you contact, how fast they respond, whether they will liaise with a dentist in your own country, and whether a return flight would be at your expense.
A clinic that has thought carefully about this will answer immediately, because they have answered it many times before.
